As long as I can remember I’ve been fascinated by art en design. As a kid I was always drawing. but growing up in a world without computers it was just drawing and I struggled to get the ideas inside my head onto paper.
About eight years ago I started working with Paint-shop Pro. That was my first time working on a computer with graphic software and creating art in some form.
About three years ago I started working with Photoshop and now I work with the Adobe Creative Cloud. Now it is possible to get the ideas that in the past only existed in my mind on to paper or on to my screen.
With programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, After Effects and InDesign the possibilities are endless and are opening a whole new world to me.
Still drawing on a daily basis, I started designing different things for companies around Holland. More and more I work on Company logos, brochures, websites or menus for restaurants.
The learning curve on those programs is steep but working with them every day becomes easier, more fun and more creative.
December 2015 is started working for/with Fotolia / Adobe Stock. Projects i made often ended up on my harddrive to never been shown again. Yes sometimes I posted my projects on my website or social media but that's it. Now my work has a purpose. I’m creating projects to sell and by doing so it made me more creative and more aware of the things i’m creating. Finding out what sells and what trending is creates a goal in designing. Motion graphics and vector illustrations are my main interest but stock images or video are part of my portfolio too.
